  • Assil Ayyash is an instructor of Oral Communication at the Lebanese American University, and Film making teacher at International College. She is also a freelance arts manager and theatre activist for many artistic and cultural projects and has previously taught public speaking and communication art courses at the Lebanese International University. Assil has a BA in Communication Arts from the Lebanese American University and MA in Arts Management and Cultural Policy from University College Dublin. She was selected for CEC ArtsLink residency program for artists and arts managers in the United States, and worked with Cleveland Public Theatre in managing and developing theatre productions. She is originally a performing artist in several productions in Lebanon and abroad and has contributed in giving public speaking workshops for professionals in institutions such as the American University of Beirut.  

    Assil is keen on exploring ways to empower both professionals and students through community building, drama and play, storytelling and innovation.

    • Production Manager for Beirut Music and Art Festival. Beirut (2011)
    • Directed and edited a play ”The Family Secret” in LAU (2009)
    • Directed a play “The Other Half” in LAU (2008)
