An alumni theatre production written and directed by Awad Awad.

Ayyoubé is the biography of a Palestinian woman in a Lebanese refugee camp. Despite the horrors of living in one of those camps; Jaber, Ayyoubé's abusive husband, turns her life into a living hell. Amidst all the unfair treatment, Ayyoubé decides to stay in the house for the sake of her children; defying the logical decision of getting a divorce.
The story of Ayyoubé is one that shows success and seeing the light, even after a lifetimeof darkness.

Three women portraying her in different stages of her life will perform the role of Ayyoubé, showing the Palestinian and Lebanese cultures over the period of 60 years.
