Christel Saneh

Sport was Christel's way to journalism; as an athlete growing up, she realized that lack of media coverage for her sport and decided to do the job. She covered Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games as a journalist and the 2019 World Athletics Championship as a photographer as well as some Youth Olympic Games and regional Championships. Christel is also an Illustrated and Comic artist and have done a comic book “Competing for a Change” which sheds the light on 3 Arab women who marked the history of the Olympic Games.

Condesa Valentina Sioufi

Condesa Valentina Sioufi has a solid understanding of commercial productions with an affinity for aesthetics and visual storytelling. After earning a BA in Cinema and Television studies from the Lebanese University, Condesa worked for many years in the advertising and marketing business with top-tier clients from across the MENA region. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Multimedia Journalism at the Lebanese American University.

Jana Itani

Jana Itani is a professional self-taught photographer and video maker. Graduated, in June 2020, from the Faculty of Science at BAU with a BSc. in Physics, and she is currently pursuing her graduate MA studies in Multimedia Journalism at LAU. Jana is passionate about humanitarian work, storytelling, and creating digital content. Jana has merged her passion, skills and believes to produce over three years of media work experience with multiple NGOs in Lebanon.

Maria Noel Chehadeh

With a BA in Political Science and International Affairs from the Lebanese American University, Maria Noel took on various opportunities in the humanitarian field. She worked in advocacy and communications across several local and international NGOs. It is when she served with UNHCR that she discovered a true passion for storytelling and giving a platform to those most in need.

Shahen Araboghlian

Shahen Araboghlian is a 21-year-old Political Science/International Relations graduate of the Lebanese American University (LAU) and Sciences Po - Paris. He has formerly worked for h-pem as a management assistant and SMM, freelanced with Rerooted Archives, and is an occasional contributor at the Armenian Weekly. His interests revolve around language, migration, as well as labor, and social movements.

Maya Hariri

Maya graduated in 2014 from AUB with a BA in Business Administration and a diploma in Media Studies and Communication. She attended the Salzburg Academy of Media and Global Change, and completed a summer exchange program at the London School of Economics. She is Interested in digital media literacy, media effects on children and education.

Zayna Ayyad

Passionate about Media, Communication and Campaigning, working in the humanitarian sector, specifically Women Rights. In the past 3 years, I've worked on award winning campaigns. I'm also known as an ARTivist, working on my other passion which is ART, through my own artline Zafeel.

Maysaa Al Ajjan

Maysaa is a prolific writer who was published in various regional outlets including Annahar English, The Daily Stars, Wamda, UNDP, The Entrepreneur ME and others. She has extensive experience in writing about technology, entrepreneurship, food, and the beauty industry. She carries a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and is currently pursuing a Masters in Multimedia journalism.  

Perla Daou

Perla has a BA in Media and Communications from the American University of Beirut (AUB). She has formerly worked as a media planner before she decided to pursue her MA in Multimedia Journalism at the Lebanese American University.. She is interested in media literacy, politics and humanitarian work.

Hadi Hoteit

Hadi holds a BA in Arabic language and Literature from the Lebanese American University. He is interested in history, politics and philosophy. His work is in editing, translation and writing press articles.

Farah Saati

Farah Saati is an LAU Com Arts graduate. Currently working as a Senior Social Media Account Director. She also holds a Business degree from BAU and is a fellow of the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change.

Dana Hamzeh

Dana recently graduated from Beirut Arab University with a BA in Mass Communication and minor in Psychology. Currently, she is continuing her master's degree in Multimedia Journalism at the Lebanese American University.

Nadine Mazloum

Nadine Mazloum is an Australian-born, Beirut-bred multimedia journalist, media adviser, and blogger.

Christina Cavalcanti

Christina graduated from AUB in 2020 with BAs in Psychology and Media & Communication Studies. She currently works on the Investigative Unit at independent Lebanese publication The Public Source and is passionate about accountability journalism. Her interests also include theatre, music, photography, and most recently, cinema, as modes of storytelling.
