The Association of Media Educators in Lebanon (MedLeb) is an independent nonprofit organization that aims to promote cooperation among journalism, media and communication programs, advance scientific research, elevate curricular standards, strengthen the relationship between educators, professionals, policymakers, and the industry, and foster media literacy across society. It strives to position Lebanon as a model for media education, training and research in the Arab region. As a collaborative platform and network for all academic media programs in Lebanon, MedLeb is the first trilingual association (Arabic, English, French) for media educators in the region.
MedLeb is delighted to announce its first annual conference on December 8-9, 2017. Hosted by the Lebanese American University (LAU) and sponsored by the Lebanese Ministry of Information, the conference theme will be: Lebanese Media Education: New Directions.
